Three Countries Face Off in Futsal Determining Match: Here's the List of Medal Winners

SURABAYA—The futsal match brought together six delegations from Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, Timor Leste and Malaysia. This sports competition will start on June 26, 2024, at the sports arena of the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences (FIKK) UNESA Campus 2 Surabaya, and the final round will take place on June 30, 2024.
Many spectators who filled the stands attended the deciding round, which brought together the strongest teams, namely Malaysia, Thailand, and Malaysia. Even from the start of the match, spectators had flocked and scrambled for seats on each side of the stands.
The results of the deciding match produced a list of medal winners. The young Indonesian Garuda team won a gold medal, a silver medal by the team from the neighboring country of Malaysia, and a bronze medal from the White Elephant Country of Thailand.

Indonesia's assistant coach, Muhammad Triyugo, is grateful for the achievements his team has achieved. The players have shown a good game so that they can beat their opponents by concocting a solid game strategy.
"Thank God for this achievement, I have conveyed to the children that this victory can have a lot of positive impacts on futsal in Indonesia," he said after the match.
Malaysian futsal coach, En. Addy Shairullyzam Mohd Shafiee also expressed his happiness because he and his team were able to enter the final round and bring home a silver medal for his country.

On the other hand, he revealed his team's performance when they faced the host team Indonesia in the top round. “In the top round, it was not easy for us. "This match is a valuable experience for us to measure the abilities of our team and measure the strength of other countries' teams as we look to future competitions," he said.
He expressed his pride in the performance of his team because they had fought until the final. It's just that the physical condition is inadequate, one of which is the difference in weather and adjustments to food intake. "Even though we failed to win gold, we still made it to the final," he said. [*]
